Palmerston North Model Engineering Club

The Palmerston North Model Engineering Club is the home of a group of enthusiast interested in building and operating all things mechanical.

Building and operating models of steam powered equipment is a big part of the clubs business but we also have a significant number of members that spend their time build fully working and featured mechanical clocks, internal combustion engines, and scale model machinery.

If you have a dream, but don’t necessarily have the equipment and the skills, come along to a club meeting and our members will assist you. We all have to start somewhere.

The club holds a meeting at the Hearing Association Rooms on the last Thursday of the month. Here the members enjoy addresses and videos, from selected guest speaker on a wide variety of subjects relevant to what we do. These meetings are a great source of fellowship and also provide a platform for members to display the work they are doing.

If you wish to attend a meeting just announce your self at the door. Members will take care of you.
